‘Coast to Coast’
An Immersive, Sustainable Cycle Journey from England’s West to East Coast Featuring Brake the Cycle
Whitehaven to Tynemouth, Northern England | Aug 2-5, 2018
For the very first time, Adventure Uncovered and Brake the Cycle collaborate on ‘Coast-to-Coast’, a sustainable-focused cycle adventure from the northwest to northeast of England. Taking in the splendour of the Lake District and Pennines and visiting an eco-farm along the way, with camping, a beach clean up and delicious food at Riley’s sustainable fish shack at the end of the journey.
Brake the Cycle provides transformative experiences through cycling, visiting ecovillages, sustainability projects and exploring alternative ways of living along the way. A maximum group of 20 will cycle 150+ miles in total over 4 days, including accommodation, campfires, wild swims and an award-winning sustainable supper at Riley’s Fish Shack on arrival in Tynemouth.
This is an ideal long weekender, for those with less time to commit to a longer adventure, a short getaway from work for a few days to meet like-minded people and mentally and physically challenge yourself during a breathtaking, memorable and exhilarating ride.
Register your interest below for a long weekend in nature and great company that you will never forget.
